Each Sunday we gather at 10:00AM for worship. We hope you’ll join us!
What should I expect?
The worship at Sumas Christian Reformed Church is structured to equip a dialogue between the Almighty and His people including a Call to Worship, worship through song, God’s greeting, corporate confession of sin, assurance of His gracious pardon, the giving of our gifts, abundant prayer, the preaching of the Word of God, the sacraments of baptism and communion, worshipful responses and finally, God’s blessing. We are primarily traditional, but often include theologically sound hymns from modernity as well. We believe that God’s people should sing His praises with Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, so you will sing psalter settings, as well as historic and recent hymns which proclaim the glory of the one holy and just God.
What should I wear?
Please come as you are, knowing that we cannot please God with our works, or attire. Bring your contrite heart, and a willingness to grow in knowledge, love, and obedience to Christ.
